EXPERIENCE
After graduating, I relocated to Nevada to launch my professional career as the Coordinator of Digital Media for the Vegas Golden Knights. Previously, I worked as a Communications Intern for the Boston University Men's Ice Hockey team, where I focused on taking photos of the athletes and creating engaging content for their Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and BU Athletics TikTok accounts. As a former Division 1 athlete, having played lacrosse at Iona University before transferring to BU, and with a lifelong involvement in sports, I am passionate about building a career that aligns with my love for athletics.

I assisted in the management of the organization's social media accounts on multiple platforms and captured content for the accounts. I also spent my time writing feature articles, as well as pre-game reports and post-game recaps. My job required me to communicate directly with athletes for content and media. I traveled with the team and captured social coverage for team events, including watch parties during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Boston University Men's Ice Hockey Communications Intern

I worked directly with the team's S.I.D and players creating content for Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, as well as taking photographs and writing live game-time copy on the BUGameDay Twitter.

I went to each practice and tournament over the summer, and used my knowledge of the sport, as well as motivation tactics to assist each athlete in growing as a lacrosse player, while helping them love the sport and have fun.

I worked after practice and game days, assisting with the laundry, as well as replacing skate blades. I helped pack and unpack the buses on game days, lifting heavy bags and equipment cases.

If hired by local parents, I worked privately with kids who wanted to learn how to play lacrosse. I taught them the fundamentals of the sport as a whole, along with the position they wished to learn more about.
